Running style
A leg quality is a race performance in which the racehorse excels.
The following types and characteristics are used for each type of leg
Running: Aiming for the lead in the early and middle stages of the race and accelerating as long as stamina lasts in the closing stages.
Leading: Aiming for the lead group while conserving stamina from the beginning to the middle of the race, and spurring off at the end of the race.
Stretch: The rider stops accelerating to a certain extent until the middle of the race to conserve stamina, and then closes the distance at once in the final stages of the race.
Ouching: The rider conserves stamina until the middle of the race, and then rushes up at top speed aiming for first place at the end of the race.
